in a meeting between two teams in positive form, it was arsenal who cruised to a 2-0 victory against leicester city thanks to an inspired performance from goalkeeper aaron ramsdale.
The gunners took the lead when Gabriel Magalhaes headed in just five minutes later. the lead was doubled just 13 minutes later when emile smith rowe instinctively pounced on a fumble in the foxes box and finished clinically.
The second half was not so comfortable for the visitors, but Arsenal defended resolutely, with Ramsdale making the save of the season, to secure a clean sheet and three points.

Arsenal started the game excellently, with Leicester unable to match their energy and ingenuity, resulting in a 2-0 lead in 18 minutes. the team pressed from the front, showed a lot of solidity in the back and cut off leicester with ease.
The two experienced strikers and the exciting wingers at Arsenal worked wonderfully together. the gunners came under a lot of pressure in the second half but worked hard to keep a clean sheet, showing a different but equally impressive side of their game in the first period.
despite all the gunners’ impressive play in the first half, it will have been a bit worrying that ramsdale required a brilliant goal to prevent leicester twice before half-time. there were a couple of sloppy moments and the hosts were also able to come out on top early in the second period.
