fortnite season 7 tweaks weapon upgrades in a way that won’t be familiar to players who started playing last season, but for most others, it’s a system they’re used to and just don’t have seen in a long time. However, even if you remember the old days of the Fortnite upgrade bench, the locations of the upgrade benches change with each season they appear in. Here’s where you can find all of the fortnite upgrade banks in chapter 2 season 7, plus how to use them when you get there.

how to upgrade weapons in fortnite
Upgrading a weapon in your hand is different from crafting your own weapon (although we have a guide for that too). you won’t need nuts and bolts. instead, you’ll want to make sure you have enough gold bars to upgrade your weapon’s rarity. each rarity upgrade improves a weapon’s reliability in stats like accuracy and damage, which means you want to make sure you’re equipped with the best possible weapons you can afford. here’s what each color weapon rarity means and how much it costs to upgrade to that rarity from the previous one.
It’s also worth mentioning that you have to upgrade each level along the way to the desired rarity. for example, to upgrade a common assault rifle to a rare assault rifle, it would cost 500 gold bars (common 200 + rare 300). suffice it to say that upgrading weapons is quite expensive this season, and we anticipate that epic will eventually change this pricing model, unless the team’s intention is really to push players to seek better loot in other ways, which could be the case .
how to earn gold bars fast in fortnite
If you’re looking to earn more gold bars quickly, the best way is to complete npc quests, which you can accept at any payphone or from any npc in the game. Each quest tends to pay out between 80 and 200 gold immediately upon completion, so you won’t need to come back to turn in a quest once you’re done, thankfully given the shrinking map. instructions can be things like visiting a particular landmark to deal damage with a certain weapon or even simply traveling a distance on foot. Actually, someone is likely to offer you anything you can do in fortnite as an npc quest, so it’s just a matter of choosing the right challenges for you.
You can also collect more gold bars frequently, though usually in smaller amounts, by smashing couches and beds (most drop gold, but not all), defeating other players and take yours, or find gold bars in chests and safes scattered throughout the island. And remember, gold bars don’t carry over from season to season, so if you find yourself hoarding them as the weeks go by, it may be best to invest in yourself and upgrade some weapons, or buy them from new outfitters. automatic and repair machines.
