how embarrassing was it for the miami faithful? well, ad blake james issued this statement after the game:

jonathan taylor ran wild in miami’s defense to the tune of 205 yards on 27 carries with a touchdown, further cementing his status as one of wisconsin’s most impressive running backs of all time despite only being a student sophomore.

What’s also to be celebrated about Thursday’s victory is the play of those who played their last game in Wisconsin. defensively, redshirt seniors t.j. Both contributed to the five forced turnovers against Miami’s offense and set the tone for limiting the Hurricanes to just one field goal.

Veteran redshirt shooting guards Michael Deiter and Beau Benzschawel helped pave the way for Doak Walker Award winner Taylor to post his fifth 200-yard rushing performance of the season en route to MVP honors. striped bowl.

After ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the personal finance student cleared holes for his brokers, but he also carried the rock five times on those proprietary fullback dives. One of them was for Wisconsin’s third touchdown of the day to put the Badgers up 21-3.

paul chryst’s team could have mailed it during one of the many non-new year’s six bowls, but the badgers didn’t. Despite leaving a few points on the scoreboard in that first half, the team dominated Miami and set the tone early. the hurricanes just never got on track.

Much credit must be given to this group of veterans for the dominating win, which will leave uw with a host of wins and accolades both as a team and individually. Quite a few players should get a chance to play on Sundays in the NFL, and they ended their time in Wisconsin with one last w.

actually, the two names i’m looking at are offensive linemen tyler biadasz and david edwards. The latter did not play on Thursday due to injury, but wisc-tv’s melissa kim asked biadasz about the process of him:

    from zach heilprin’s victory recap:

sophomore tyler biadasz said afterward that he hasn’t decided whether to return to wisconsin or turn pro. he said he will go home and talk to family and coaches before making a decision for him. he said he thinks he’s ready for the league, but he gets more involved.

“It’s just that your opportunity comes and it depends on when you want to take advantage of it,” said biadasz. “That’s something I have to think about right now.”
