make sure the hull outline is drawn in the right place by creating reference lines. simply draw an intersecting horizontal and vertical line and use these lines as a guide.

The vertical line above the horizontal line marks where you should draw the football helmet.

Step 2 – Create an Outline of the Football Helmetfootball player drawing step 2

draw an irregular square with no bottom line in the bottom half of the helmet outline. this forms the opening of the helmet where the football player’s face is.

The opening of the helmet must cover its lower half.

Draw connected thin line figures that cover the opening of the helmet. this forms the face mask, which helps provide additional protection for the soccer player.

As you can see in the illustration above, the lines at the top of the facemask are slightly curved downwards, while those at the bottom are curved upwards. feel free to use the illustration as a guide!

don’t forget to erase any part of the outline that overlaps with the face mask. this helps keep your drawing clean and tidy, and most importantly, polished.
