Please see the chart below to see how our gloves compare. please note: the following should be used as a rough starting point. each goalkeeper model, style and hand will have slight differences. he really won’t know the perfect size of it until he wears his first glove. if the fit is not what you want, you can change it to another size without problems.

how to measure your hand size

If this is your first hand size, remember that if your pair of ogs is unworn and in its original packaging, it can always be exchanged for a larger or smaller size.

    1. measure your gloves from the tip of your middle finger down to the bottom of your palm.
    2. We recommend adding 1/4 – 1/2 inch (0.25-0.5 cm) to your measurement to leave a little more room on your glove.
    3. compare with the size guide table below

Every wearer has a different personal preference when it comes to looseness or fit, so you won’t know your perfect size until you try on a pair.

Tip: You don’t want the gloves to be too tight and touch your fingertips, and you don’t want too much excess room to feel “loose.” a glove that is too tight could rip or tear more easily and a glove that is too roomy will not instill confidence.

the importance of getting the right fit for goalkeeper gloves

Getting the right fit is extremely important, a correctly fitting glove means more comfort, more confidence and the most natural contact with the ball. a glove that is too tight can put more pressure on the materials and cause premature wear or even cracking, a glove that is too loose can cause an unnatural grip on the ball. That said, glove fits are a personal preference, some may prefer more room and others a more comfortable feel (this is why you’ll see some goalkeepers opt for a tighter fit like ‘negative’, or some looser fits like ‘ flat palm’ or ‘rotate the finger’).

As a general rule, goalkeeper gloves are measured from the tip of the middle finger to the bottom of the palm. however, you may want to consider factoring in the thickness of the goalkeeper glove, as this will inevitably add a bit more bulk to the fit. We recommend that you add 0.5 cm to his measurement (as a precaution) to leave a little more room in your glove. for accuracy, use our printed glove sizing tool.

If your glove arrives and it is not quite correct or it was not what you expected, then consult our return policy for more information.
