    named player of the year for the red sox latino program and star of the dominican summer league in his first professional season… led the dsl red sox in average (.314), hits (75), h (3), rbi (42), total bases (101), slg (.423), and ops (.819)…ranked 8th in average among dsl hitters with at least 200 ab…led the tour with 295 chances and 110 outs at shortstop…he and twin brother jair each hit a grand slam on 8/20 in a 16-0 win at the dsl indians…tied for second losing streak longest hits of the year in the dsl with a 13- game streak to close out the season, in which he batted .358 (19-for-53) with 2 home runs.
