    The famous quote was used in this context to emphasize the importance of conditioning, both mental and physical, whether facing a battle or stepping onto the football field.

    But why should we fear fatigue? Is it because we don’t want to be tired or fight against adversity? What should scare us about fatigue is not the difficulty, but the increased risk of injury.
